Anis Bibi
Executive Director

Anis joined Shuaa Partners in 2008, prior to which he was a Managing Director with Fortress Investment Group in London. At Fortress, Anis was a member of the investment team in the Drawbridge Special Opportunities Fund, a c. $7 billion hedge fund focused on special situations and asset-backed credit and equity investments. His responsibilities included the origination and execution of primarily European investments.

Prior to Fortress, Anis was a Managing Director at Amaranth Advisors in London where he was responsible for establishing Amaranth's European direct private investments business. Before joining Amaranth, Anis spent more than 7 years at CIBC World Markets where he was most recently an Executive Director in the European Financial Sponsor Coverage and Leveraged Finance team. His responsibilities at CIBC included the origination and execution of leveraged acquisition financings across all parts of the capital structure including senior debt, junior debt (second lien, mezzanine, bridge and high yield) and private equity investments.

Anis received his MBA from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business and his dual BSc in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering from Northwestern University.
