Maher Hammoud
Executive Director

Maher joined Shuaa Partners in 2007. Prior to that, Maher was a management consultant at Booz & Co. (formerly Booz Allen Hamilton) in the Beirut, Dubai, and Riyadh offices where he led and participated in multiple projects covering strategy development, business planning, strategy-based transformations, organization design, post-merger integration, performance management, and governance. At Booz & Co., Maher was a senior member of the financial services practice, where he led strategy and capability- building projects for leading financial institutions and financial regulators in the GCC covering insurance, corporate banking, private banking, and retail banking. In addition, Maher managed and participated in projects in other sectors including large scale real estate developments, retail, media, and transportation. Maher also worked on a number of projects for public sector clients in the MENA region including the development of privatization strategies, economic reform policies, industrial free zones, and improving the investment attractiveness at country and sector-specific levels.

Earlier on, Maher worked in the Office of the Group CEO of Banque Audi, where he advised on and executed investments for the Bank’s private equity portfolio, managed a corporate banking portfolio with strategic clients, managed corporate finance transactions, and supported the Bank’s business development activities.

Maher holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School, an MBA from the Lebanese American University, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Saint Mary’s University in Canada.
