Investment Strategy
The primary objective of the Frontier Opportunities Fund I, L.P. is to achieve capital appreciation through selected direct equity, debt and/or equity related investments.
The Fund will generally focus on acquiring a sufficient interest in businesses so that it is able to exercise significant influence over matters relating to the management, capital expenditure, strategic growth and performance initiatives of those businesses.
The Fund plans to invest in both existing and start up businesses.

- Privately negotiated investments into public companies
- Pre-IPO investments
- Buy-outs / Leveraged buy-outs
- Management buy-outs
- Recapitalizations
- Spin-offs from business restructurings or privatizations
- Public to private transactions
- Acquisition Financing

The Fund will seek to invest in businesses that have the following characteristics:
- Strong, highly motivated management team.
- Clear strategic advantage in sector (e.g., high barriers to entry, proprietary products/processes, distribution capabilities).
- Growth opportunities in terms of revenues and margins.
- A discernable exit strategy. Although there is no guarantee of a successful exit from any Investment by the Fund, it should be possible to identify credible exit scenarios at the time of investment.
